The police is the official law enforcement of Showdown Town led by Pikelet, appearing in Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts. Most officers are weasels, described as "Pikelet's crack team of incompetent weasels" in the game's instruction booklet.
The cops attack by running into your vehicle, but as the game progresses, they will eventually start shooting grenades too. There are two types of police cars; the red and blue, which can only ram into you, and the black and white, which fires grenades at you.
The police will start chasing Banjo and Kazooie when they do things such as run into civilians or policemen, shoot the laser (discharging a weapon), take Jiggies from the Jig-O-Vends (smuggling), or honk the horn (disturbing the peace). The cops can be escaped by going to far away locations, defeating them, or bribing Pikelet.
