Trapdoor Towers are a series of locations in Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts.

Features and overviewEdit

Trapdoor Tower are buildings appearing throughout Showdown Town. Each one contains a Mumbo Crate inside, and they all need a combination, bought from characters like Bottles, Mr. Fit and Captain Blubber, to be entered on a Wrench-it Bolt for them to open. If the Showdown Town Police is nearby when a Trapdoor Tower is opened, they will start chasing Banjo and Kazooie.

According to Steve Mayles, the Trapdoor Towers were based on an old water tower next to the M40 motorway near Oxford.^[1]
