Gruntweeds are plant-like enemies created by Klungo after mixing Gruntlings and Whiplashes together.
History
Banjo-Kazooie: Grunty's Revenge
In Banjo-Kazooie: Grunty's Revenge, Gruntweeds can be found in Spiral Mountain, Cliff Farm and Spiller's Harbor. They disguise themselves as grass and fly into the air to attack Banjo and Kazooie when they get close and can be defeated by using the Pack Whack when they land in the ground again.
In Cliff Farm, a specific Gruntweed can be found blocking a pen with Bleaters inside and not allowing them to leave, causing Banjo to have to defeat it in order to help them.
Banjo-Pilot
In Banjo-Pilot, a Gruntweed makes an appearance at the cerimony that happens when completing a Grand Prix alongside other characters, mostly from Banjo-Kazooie: Grunty's Revenge.
