This list of implied characters is a list of characters who have been mentioned at least once throughout the Banjo-Kazooie series, but have not physically appeared in any form of media as of yet.

Captain Foobar

Captain Foobar is a character from "Star Spanners", a series that Pikelet mentions in Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts. When all rewards are won in the "Germs Warfare" challenge of the Terrarium of Terror's second Act, he compares Banjo and Kazooie's performance to Captain Foobar in the 23rd episode of the series where he "vaporized the Dangleberry Drones".

Dave Jinjo

Dave Jinjo is a character mentioned during Act 5 of the Terrarium of Terror in Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts. It is stated that he made a bet with a yellow Jinjo that "licensed bear drivers" can't go fast, and his friend wants Banjo to prove him wrong.

Dingpot's girlfriend

“Sniff... I had a saucepan girlfriend once, but Grunty broke her handle...”
Dingpot, Banjo-Kazooie

Dingpot's girlfriend is a character mentioned by Dingpot in Banjo-Kazooie, in the room before the final battle against Gruntilda. He states that she was a saucepan, and had her handle broken by the witch.

Granny Jinjo

Granny Jinjo being mentioned

Granny Jinjo was a character mentioned during Act 5 of the Terrarium of Terror in Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts. If the Jinjo Hurling challenge hosted by a purple Jinjo is failed, he will say that "even Granny Jinjo could do it, and she's dead".

Gruntilda's band

Grunty and the Broomstick Boys, Grunty and the Cauldron Crew or Grunty and the Monster Mob (depending on the save file) are a musical group mentioned by Brentilda in Banjo-Kazooie. According to her, "they're awful".

Gruntilda's best friend

Fatty Hatty, Sweaty Betty or Saggy Maggy (depending on the save file) is a character mentioned by Brentilda in Banjo-Kazooie. According to her, she was Gruntilda's best friend in Witch School.

Additionally, one of the possible names for Gruntilda's favorite boutique is "Saggy Maggy's Boutique".

Gruntilda's dog

Ripper, Legchomper or Bignacka (depending on the save file) is a character mentioned by Brentilda in Banjo-Kazooie. He is Gruntilda's "nasty pet dog".

The name "Ripper" is a reference to Captain Blackeye's dog from the canceled Dream: Land of Giants, while "Bignacka" is likely a portmanteau of "big" and "knacker", a British slang used to refer to the testicles.

Gruntilda's ex-boyfriend

Undead Ed, Dirty Berty or Greasy Grant (depending on the save file) is a character mentioned by Brentilda in Banjo-Kazooie. According to her, he was Gruntilda's "first and last boyfriend".

His names likely come from Ed Bryan, Paul J. Machacek and Grant Kirkhope respectively, all of which who helped in the development of the game.

Hag Trolls

The Hag Trolls are a female gaming clan mentioned in Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts. While taking the role of "The Gutsy Girl Gamer" in the LOGBOX 720, Humba Wumba is a member of the group. When all rewards are collected in the challenge "Unstable Hardware" of LOGBOX 720 Act 5, Humba Wumba makes Kazooie an honorary member of the Hag Trolls.

Their name is likely a pun on the Frag Dolls, a group of female gamers recruited and employed by Ubisoft.

Jiggosseum players

In the Jiggosseum's scoreboard of Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts, various match results scroll through, with many of them having been played by various teams or individual players that are mostly references to characters from the series or developers of the game. The list does not include characters mentioned there like Nabnut or Eyrie, who have already appeared physically in other games.

King Sandybutt

King Sandybutt is a character said to be the ruler of Gobi's Valley. He is found inside a tomb in said world, being the location of his hidden Jiggy. The maze is guarded by a Mum-mum, who attempts to keep Banjo and Kazooie away but ultimately fails.

In Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts, in the description for the Pyramid exhibit of Banjoland, it is said that it "was torn out of Gobi's Valley in Banjo-Kazooie, much to the chagrin of its owner, King Sandybutt".

Lady of Games

The Lady of Games is the wife and "female counterpart" of the Lord of Games, being mentioned by him in Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts. While in Showdown Town, L.O.G. states she created the first video games involving "pony-riding, lovely kittens, and ninjas being blown up with rocket launchers".

L.O.G. also mentions in promotional material that "she has her own preferences when it comes to genre and declined to be involved in [his] latest project".[1]

Mrs. Klungo

Mrs. Klungo is a character mentioned by Klungo in Banjo-Tooie. After being beaten for the third time, he states that each defeat is making him "lesss and lesss handsssome", and "now Mrsss. Klungo won't want [him] anymore". It is unclear whether or not she actually exists.

Red Jinjo's mother

The Red Jinjo's mother is a character mentioned by her child in the Jinjo Race challenge of LOGBOX 720 Act 6. When his race is lost, he states he really is "wicked cool", and thought his "mum was just exaggerating to make [him] feel better". When he is beaten, however, the Red Jinjo says that his mother said he "was really good", then starts to think that this means he "probably can't beat T.T. at kickboxing either".

St. Dungball

St. Dungball was the founder of the witch school Gruntilda attended, according to one of its names provided by Brentilda in Banjo-Kazooie.
