This is a list of pre-release and unused content from Banjo-Kazooie: Grunty's Revenge.

Freezing Fjord is an early version of Freezing Furnace before it was combined with Fiery Furnace. The following are from the Build No. 0.37.08 prototype of Banjo-Kazooie: Grunty's Revenge.
Moves learned[edit]

- Bill Drill the Xs found throughout the map and a jiggy will appear on an island.
- Shoot at a fire egg slot to free a jiggy from a pillar of ice.
- Find Boggy's sled on a pillar of ice only accessible with flight.
- Reconnect the pipes by using pack whack on switches, if the order is correct, when firing an egg into the furnace it'll reach the end and free a jiggy.

The Jinjo Oracle is located on the west side above the world entrance beside Boggy. She has the following hints:
- Beyond the flowing wall awaits a golden honeycomb.
- The chilling waters will cause great pain, maybe you should look to change.
- Only a walking fire may enter the chamber of ice.
- If you're a high flyer, you might just hit the mark.
- Gruntilda's machines are powered by steam. It's so cold you should add a little heat.
Trivia[edit]
- The frozen jinjo has a unique sprite that doesn't move.
- This is the only world that doesn't have a boss.
- Boggy was scrapped when flying was scrapped.
- There is no fishing mini-game here like the final game.
- Gruntweed can be found here.
- The first area with snowball throwing Bigfoots features a gruntling frozen in the lake.
- Design documents also mention that Wazza the Walrus was supposed to appear here.
Fiery Furnace[edit]
Fiery Furance is an early version of Freezing Furnace before it was combined with Freezing Fjord. The following are from the Build No. 0.37.08 prototype of Banjo-Kazooie: Grunty's Revenge.
Jiggies[edit]
- In the furnace storage on top of crates, requiring shock spring pads.
- Get passed the moving crusher conveyor belt and activate the switch to refine the jiggy ore.
- Bring Miss Bucket seven gold nuggets.

- Falling tiles puzzle over the lava jetty requiring the tank transformation.
- Clear the rubble faster than Masha, a rubble clearing machine.
- Spell out Gruntilda on the paneled floor in the Blistering Buttons room.
- Activate the flight pad in the entry area and fly to the high up platform.
- Defeat a boss (there is no boss in this build, just the mumbo totem)
- Find all five Jinjos.

Extra Honeycombs[edit]

- In the water pool at the refinery.
Jinjo Oracle[edit]
The Jinjo Oracle is located on the east side above in the furnace machine room. She has the following hints:
- Some floor panels may be removed using downward force.
- Gruntilda is the name of your nemesis, remember this when short on air it may provide a flight of fancy.
- Monsters born of fire must be defeated by a wonderful move.
- Substances that are harmful to living things may be navigated by metal machines.
- Search all areas carefully as goodies could lurk beneath the surface.
Trivia[edit]
- Fiery Furnace requires 53 jiggies to unlock, 16 more than the base game.
- Despite not being in the final game, the lava area in Spiral Mountain still exists.
- An unnamed Fire-themed Bigfoot enemy exists here.
- A melting green statue of Mecha Grunty is featured here instead of a metal snowman.
- Only the Lava Jetty, Furnace Storage, Blistering Buttons and Refinery made it into the game. Areas that were scrapped were the starting area, the machine room and the mine.
- Chompas and Jinjos here are red.

MoHendraBanjo[edit]
MoHendraBanjo was the scrapped 6th world of Banjo-Kazooie: Grunty's Revenge. It was originally accessible after Spiller's Harbor and before Fiery Furnace. The world had a jungle and war theme as concept art often shows scenes of planes airdropping bombs, and a tank that spews poison. The level's name is placeholder as it is referred to as Jungle Ruins, and Deep Jungle in the documentation.[17]
The level featured Scorpions, Spitting Cobras, Grabba, Boom Boxes, and Spider[18] enemies though documents for the level also features Bigbutt[19]. The moves learned on this level would be Climb, and Wonderwing. After receiving the Mumbo Totem the player would be able to transform into bee Banjo.
Grunty's Stronghold[edit]
Much like how Banjo-Tooie's Cauldron Keep was once its own world, Grunty's Castle was once its own world as well. The level featured: gruntlings, live-wires, germuloids, and the unused spider enemy. The way to get to the final boss was through something called "Booster Doors" but no further information was provided.[20]
Unused Dialogue[edit]
Cliff Farm originally featured a task to find a missing Bleater and return them to their pen. All the following are found in Build No. 0.37.08 prototype of Banjo-Kazooie: Grunty's Revenge.
Spiller's Harbor featured Snorkel and his father Mr. Dolphin. Banjo as an octopus would follow them into the Murky Passage. Banjo was to protect Mr. Dolphin while he looks for his son.
A running gag throughout the game is that Banjo misgenders characters he comes across. He does this with Jinjo Oracle, Mr.Dolphin, and Miss Bucket.
An unused character named Masha, was set to appear in Fiery Furnace's mine.
Leftovers from the original plot where Kazooie becomes a monster still leftover.
