Template:Infobox game info Banjo-Kazooie: Grunty's Revenge is the third installment (second in timeline) in the Banjo-Kazooie series, made for Nintendo's Game Boy Advance. The game was developed by Rareware, like the two previous games in the series, and was published by THQ. The game used an overhead, looking down platform design to replicate the 3-D feel of the console entries in the series but on a smaller scale. It is the first Banjo-Kazooie game that was not released in Japan.

Trivia

  • Banjo-Kazooie: Grunty's Revenge was the first Rare game released after being purchased by Microsoft from Nintendo, even though the game was released for a Nintendo game system.
  • When the game was first released, there was a theory that the game was a "What If: Banjo-Tooie Had Never Happened" scenario, thus creating a parallel universe. This caused a bit of confusion as to why Gruntilda wasn't rescued. This may not be far from the truth, however, as it was completely neglected in Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts.
  • This is the first game in the series where you can't fly.
