Jigsaw Puzzles were used by Banjo and Kazooie to access new levels and in one case an upgrade. In Banjo-Kazooie, 11 different Jigsaw Puzzles appear inside of Gruntilda's Lair.

- Clanker's Cavern - Left of the Grunty Mural, Shock Jump needed. 5 Jiggies needed
- Bubblegloop Swamp - Near Clanker's Cavern entrance, puzzle and Swimming required. 7 Jiggies needed
- Freezeezy Peak - Near Bubblegloop Swamp entrance, protective leg gear or toughened skin required. 8 Jiggies needed
- Gobi's Valley - In Lava area. 9 Jiggies needed
- Mad Monster Mansion - Near Rusty Bucket Bay entrance. 10 Jiggies needed
- Rusty Bucket Bay - In tunnel next to Rusty Bucket Bay entrance. 12 Jiggies needed
