Pawno is the resident pawnbroker of Jolly Roger's Lagoon. He is somewhat sly and uses a crutch to support his peg leg, the origin of which is never fully elaborated upon. When Banjo and Kazooie first meet him in Banjo-Tooie, he offers the duo a Jiggy for twenty doubloons and a Cheato page for five. These are the only items available for purchase, but many items from Banjo-Kazooie appear in the shop as well: the Gruntilda doll offered as second prize in Grunty's Furnace Fun, Brentilda's portrait from Mad Monster Mansion, and a box with the the initials "B-K" on it.
