Dive is an ability used by Banjo and Kazooie to dive underwater in Banjo-Kazooie and Banjo-Tooie.
In Banjo-Kazooie: Grunty's Revenge, Banjo learns how to dive underwater from Bozzeye for 25 Musical Notes. Banjo can only dive underwater in areas where the water is bubbling. There are only 3 bubbling water spots in the game. When Banjo is underwater, he has a time limit represented by air bubbles as his oxygen capacity.

In Banjo-Tooie, Banjo can swim underwater on his own, whereas Kazooie will attempt to dive if one presses B on the water's surface, but is unsuccessful due to her plumage giving her buoyancy. However, Kazooie can temporarily swim underwater on her own by means of the Talon Torpedo.
