This ability is activated simply by touching a pair of green [[Wading Boots]] and it allows [[Kazooie]] to wade through hazardous terrain like [[Dragunda]] waters and superheated sand while she carries [[Banjo]] around on her back, similar to the [[Talon Trot]]. The Stilt Stride is learned from Bottles in Bubblegloop Swamp in Banjo-Kazooie, just behind the world's entrance. Along with the other moves, Stilt Stride reappears in Banjo-Tooie as one of the pre-learned moves.

This ability is activated simply by touching a pair of green Wading Boots and it allows Kazooie to wade through hazardous terrain like Dragunda waters and superheated sand while she carries Banjo around on her back, similar to the Talon Trot. The ability can only be used for a limited time but can also be canceled prematurely by standing still and pressing B Button. The music played is a different version of the pause menu theme.

In Banjo-Tooie, Banjo cannot use the Stilt Stride by himself, and instead uses the Sack Pack for crossing hazardous terrains.
