The Banjo-Kazooie Game Paks each hold a secret Stop 'n' Swop item from Banjo-Kazooie. Only three Banjo-Kazooie Game Paks exist throughout Banjo-Tooie. Two are located in Spiral Mountain and one is found within Jinjo Village.

The first from Spiral Mountain, located in a secret cave above the waterfall, requires the Grip Grab ability and the use of a Fly Pad to reach. Fly up above the waterfall and enter the cave. Swim to the area of land that does not have the grating covering it. Find the crack in the wall that is for the Grip Grab ability. Follow it behind the waterfall that brings you behind the grating. This Banjo-Kazooie Game Pak contains the Blue Mystery Egg in the original or the Silver Mystery Egg in Xbox Live Arcade version.

The second from Spiral Mountain requires the use of Grenade Eggs and the use of a Fly Pad. Above the stumps, where the Turbo Trainers and Wading Boots are located, is a grate covering a hole in the side of the wall. Use Grenade Eggs to destroy the grating to reveal the hole. Fly to the hole and the Banjo-Kazooie Game Pak can be found running in a circle. This contains the Pink Mystery Egg in the original and the Bronze Mystery Egg in the Xbox Live Arcade version.

The third, found in Jinjo Village, is located behind the Green Jinjo Family House near a sandy area. This only requires the Grip Grab ability to reach. On the left side of the wall, surrounding the sandy area, is a platform under a crack for the Grip Grab ability. Follow this crack until you reach a cave. In this cave is the third Banjo-Kazooie Game Pak which contains the Ice Key in the original and the Gold Mystery Egg in the Xbox Live Arcade version.

Ice Eggs

Any Banjo-Kazooie Game Pak hit by an Ice Egg is frozen temporarily. While they cannot actually kill Banjo-Kazooie Game Paks, they're perfect for immobilizing them so they can be attacked easier.
