Snapdragons are vile creatures which make their nests around Grip Grab ledges. They hide in their holes until Banjo gets close, snapping at him and attempting to knock him off. Snapdragons can easily be killed while on the ledge by pressing Template:B to peck them with Kazooie, or by firing Grenade Eggs at their nests from the ground, but the attack pattern of Snapdragons is predictable and can easily be avoided if Banjo is alone and unable to attack.
