Quarrie is an enemy, found at Spiral Mountain in Banjo-Kazooie. He is a boulder who is one of four training enemies at the start of the game. The other three are Topper the Carrot, Bawl the Turnip and Colliwobble the Cauliflower. Its main purpose was to aid Bottles in teaching Banjo and Kazooie the Beak Barge ability. This short, brown enemy is different from the other training enemies on Spiral Mountain in that it never moves and cannot injure the player.

He, Topper, Bawl and Colliwobble (the other vegetable enemies) were arrested by the "rubbish video game character police" according to Rare, along with Brentilda, Tooty and Jamjars. However, he and the rest of the vegetable enemies have a chance of reappearing in Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts, because Rare stated they were "releasing" one character (or group of characters) from the police to reappear in the game.

Trivia

  • He is often mistaken to be a potato by players because all the other training enemies are vegetables.
