Targitzan is the boss of Mayahem Temple in Banjo-Tooie. To get into his Temple, Banjo and Kazooie must learn the Breegull Blaster. They must then collect 20 statues of him to gain entry to his Really Sacred Chamber. Banjo and Kazooie were just about to grab a Jiggy when Targitzan appeared, trapping the jiggy on top of his head where they couldn't reach it, so they had to battle Targitzan to get the Jiggy back. To defeat him, a player must shoot the targets on his totems until the totems broke off. When one has broken off, Targitzan would summon Moggies to fight the heros. He also has heads on the side and when they saw the player they would shoot them with arrows they began shooting arrows out of their mouths, making the battle cosiderably harder. After the battle Targitzan self-destructed and the heroes reclaimed the Jiggy.
A golden statue of Targitzan's head appears in Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts as one of the exhibits in Banjoland, near the Mumbo's Mountain Stonehenge, although it is not visible until hitting a nearby button, which causes him to rise out of the ground. After hitting the button, he spews out soccer balls. A smaller stature of Targitzan can be seen in the nearby lake and dissasembled using the wrench. This Targitzan uses the authentic N64 model, instead of a remake.
