It is the game's counterpart to Mumbo's Skull from Banjo-Kazooie and Banjo-Tooie. Its name is based on the colorful pad by that Mumbo uses to change Banjo and Kazooie into another transformation.
There is a Mumbo's Pad in every level of the game. To be changed from Mumbo, the duo needs special tokens collected by beating Klungo and Mecha-Grunty in boss battles.
