Jump is one of the most commonly used moves in the Banjo-Kazooie series. The are two different jumps: a very short jump which has limited use, and a long jump which is what most players use. The short jump is one of the only abilities that can be used at the start of Banjo-Kazooie without visiting the first of Bottles' molehills.

The short jump is activated by tapping the Template:A button once, while the long jump is used by pressing and holding the Template:A button.
