A Buzzbomb is an enemy found in Bubblegloop Swamp, the Autumn season of Click Clock Wood, and certain areas of Gruntilda's Lair. Resembling a yellow dragonfly-like bug, it flies around in the air and attacks Banjo and Kazooie by diving into the bear and bird unnoticed. Once noticed, it is a relatively weak enemy that can easily be dispatched with Kazooie's Rat-a-tat Rap ability.
Its behavior and attack closely resemble that of a Scabby, another insect-flying enemy found in Gobi's Valley.
Trivia
In the N64 version of Banjo-Kazooie, a Buzzbomb appears in the opening scene shortly after the game is turned on. It will fly around the screen making a buzzing sound before crashing into a Rareware logo and falling into a pond below.
