Floatus Floatium Creatures (nicknamed "Floaters") are found in mysterious colorful eggs located in many areas of Cloud Cuckooland.
These eggs first need to be Hatched by Kazooie; however, after they are hatched once, they do not need to be hatched again. After the butterfly-like Floaters have hatched, Banjo can carry them in his backpack with the Taxi Pack.
When Banjo has a Floater in his backpack, he is able to float in the air for fifteen seconds, after which the Floater escapes. It is necessary for Banjo to use the Floaters to complete several activities in Cloud Cuckooland such as using one to get to Mr. Fit to race him in the sack race.
Trivia
- The name and idea could be inspired by the material 'Floatsy' in the unreleased Rare game called 'Project Dream: Land of Giants'. The Floatsy gave the proporty of flying to anything it was built with.
