Betette is one of the alien babies that Banjo and Kazooie must rescue after Mumbo Jumbo uses his Life Force spell to revive Alph once thier ship crash-lands on the Icy Side of Hailfire Peaks. Each of the alien children, including Betette, remain hidden until they sense Alph's presence, after which they appear can be rescued. Betette is dressed in a pink alien suit and holds a blue rattle.
Alphette is found under a sheet of ice located just in fromnt of Wumba's Wigwam. Kazooie must Bill Drill the ice sheet to free Betette. After removing the obstacle, Banjo and Kazooie find Betette dead. Banjo humorously comments that Betette needs "beak-to-mouth resuscitation". But Kazooie, who is too cowardly to do so, quickly refuses. Banjo then says that this is a job for a professionally qualified doctor, referring to Mumbo, who's abilities must be called upon once again to in order to revive Betette.
The alien family, including Betette, all appear Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts in cryogenic capsules in the Terrarium of Terror. A mission involves bringing the family down to thier underwater home.
