When Banjo and Kazooie walk past them, they will scream out "Uggh!" and immediately run towards them. Their attack involves slamming down their fists on the ground, hurting Banjo and Kazooie if they are close enough. However, they are relatively weak baddies who can be defeated with mostly any attack that can be performed.
Uggers are basically the same as the Gruntlings of Banjo-Kazooie.
