Flap Flip as seen in Banjo-Kazooie and Banjo-Tooie

Flap Flip is a basic jumping ability used by holding the Template:Z button to crouch and pressing Template:A. Kazooie will use her wings to assist Banjo in doing a high-jumping backflip, allowing them them to reach high heights. A less powerful variation of this move can be used while Banjo, but Kazooie must learn a new ability in order to do any flipping by herself.

Flap Flip is also an ability learned in Banjo-Kazooie: Grunty's Revenge. Kazooie teaches this to Banjo when he saves her from Gruntilda in Breegull Beach. Although in the game this ability is counted as an ability taught by Bozzeye, it is not and requires no Musical Notes to learn. To perform Flap Flip, hold Template:Lgameboy and press the Template:Agameboy button.
