Dive is an ability used by Banjo and Kazooie to dive underwater in Banjo-Kazooie and Banjo-Tooie.

In Banjo-Kazooie: Grunty's Revenge, Banjo learns how to dive underwater from Bozzeye for 25 musical notes. Banjo can only dive underwater in areas where the water is bubbling. There are only 3 bubbling water spots in the game. When Banjo is underwater, he has a time limit represented by air bubbles as his oxygen capacity.

In the first two games, if Banjo runs out of air bubbles, he will drown. However, in Grunty's Revenge, he just swims back to the surface once he runs out of air bubbles.
