Detonator Banjo is the native transformation of Glitter Gulch Mine in Banjo-Tooie.
Under this form, Banjo can detonate TNT barrels by standing on the end of the fuse, opening new passageways. He can defend himself using a self-destruct attack; it has a wider range than most attacks and is capable of blasting boulders, but it costs one honeycomb per use, and cannot be triggered when Banjo has only one honeycomb left. The Detonator has the ability to float in water, while most transformations sink right to the bottom.
A model of the Detonator appears on top of some boxes in Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts.
