Caterpillars are collectible items during the summer and fall in Click Clock Wood of Banjo-Kazooie. Banjo and Kazooie have to climb up to Eyrie's Nest and feed five to Eyrie during the summer and ten in autumn. Caterpillars are found everywhere, with 8 appearing in Summer and 13 in Autumn, meaning more are provided to you than are required to obtain the Jiggy.
