The Bleaters is a flock of white and grey colored sheep that live in Cliff Farm in Banjo-Kazooie: Grunty's Revenge. Banjo automatically speaks to them when he walks up to them. One of them asks Banjo to fish them all out of a mud river using a fishing rod. You must hold down the A button for a period of time, depending on how far away the Bleater is, to cast and reel one in. Some Bleaters were also trapped in a small enclosure where a Gruntweed was trying to 'play' with 4 of them. Banjo defeated the Gruntweed and saved the Bleaters, earning a Jiggy as a reward.
Trivia
- The Bleaters hold the honor of being the only thing from Banjo-Kazooie: Grunty's Revenge to be mentioned in Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts. Upon the completion of the mission "Canned and Panned" (which involves transporting round inflatable sheep) Bottles will say it is clear that Banjo already had practice herding sheep, a reference to Sheep Dip. However if the duo get a Trophy Thomas for completing the challenge, Bottles' dialogue is different and makes no mention of the Bleaters minigame.
