Stomponadon

Stomponadon is by far one of the largest characters in Banjo history — so large, in fact, all that is visible of him is his big, scaly foot! He resides in the Stomping Plains area of Terrydactyland. His purpose as one of Banjo-Tooie's several crushing hazards is to aggravate the player and impede progress. To paw-furs, he's quite a treat, but to everyone else, his love of stomping, as his name implies, racks up great damage upon those who wish to cross his territory; his stomp will kill the player in two consecutive hits regardless of health, unless they gain some back, the first reducing them to one honeycomb, the second being the killing hit. Comically, if Banjo and Kazooie are stomped, they will temporally be flattened, but will still move normally. Large footprints in the ground will provide cover, but you'll need to be quick to move from print to print without being squished; the Talon Trot is usually fast enough, although the Wonderwing will offer protection if you want to be cautious, but Banjo alone does not have the necessary speed to make it across without being stepped on, so the Snooze Pack ability is required to recover energy in between stomps.
Judging by the shape of Stomponadon's foot, he would appear to be based on members of the Theropoda suborder of dinosaurs, such as a T-rex or something similar, although the exact species is impossible to identify. Jimbo-Jambo
