Betette is one of the alien babies that you must rescue after you use Mumbo Jumbo's Life Force spell to revive Alph. Betette is the alien dressed in pink.
Betette is found under a sheet of ice that you must Bill Drill. After removing the obstacle, Banjo and Kazooie unfortunately find Betette dead. Mumbo Jumbo's abilities are called upon again to revive Betette. When the bear and bird first discover Betette, Banjo humorously comments that she (Betette) needs "beak to mouth" resuscitation. But Kazooie, who is too cowardly to do so, quickly and selfishly says "I think we need a professional," obviously referring to Mumbo.
Betette returns in Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts with her family but she is in a capsule. There is a mini-game where the player must take Betette and her family to their underwater home.
