Slappa is a large mummified hand similar to Grabba found as an enemy in Gobi's Valley. It lies in wait under the sand until Banjo and Kazooie pass unsuspectingly by, then springing up and slapping the ground in an attempt to crush them. If Banjo is too far away to reach, then Slappa can actually chase him by plowing through the sand until the bear moves out of its limited territorial range.
