Mystery Egg
The Mystery Eggs are a series of mysterious, collectible eggs that are usually used for unlocking extra features.
Six Mystery Eggs and the Ice Key were intended to make up the scrapped Stop 'n' Swop feature, where the player would transfer the items from Banjo-Kazooie into Banjo-Tooie. This resulted in three of the Mystery Eggs being repurposed for Banjo-Tooie as collectibles that unlock content in the game itself.
The Stop 'n' Swop feature was later added in the Xbox Live Arcade ports for both games. Therefore the Mystery Eggs were used to unlock content between the two games, including vehicle parts for Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts.
