Chimpy is a character found at Mumbo's Mountain in Banjo-Kazooie. He stands on a small stump near Conga's Tree and requests a orange from Banjo. To obtain the orange, Banjo needs to climb up Conga's Tree to retrieve it. Once Banjo has given the orange, Chimpy runs off and leaves behond a Jiggy. The stump also raises to allow Banjo to jump up onto the platforms.
He bears great resemblence to Diddy Kong.
