So, has there been any confirmation that Salty Joe is the Showdown Town police officer? I want to change it, but if anyone would like to link to a source to give the article some weight, I might not... --Tiptup Jr. 16:29, 16 February 2009 (UTC)

Well, after taking a picture of a Showdown Town police officer, I can say it doesn't look that much like him. On the other hand, it looks as much like him as much as any other character looks like their Nintendo 64 appearance, so it could be him. Xykeb Yvolix Zraliv 06:22, 19 February 2009 (UTC)

Hmmm... Okay, I think I might take it off for now, just until we get some proof or something. They do kind of look alike, but I think if Rare meant for them to be Salty Joe they would have said something about it.--Tiptup Jr. 01:23, 24 February 2009 (UTC)

I know this is like ancient, but I'm pretty sure Salty Joe is a weasel, not a fox. Unless it says in the game somewhere.
