We're the Eggs! Kazooie can learn to use us as ammo!
Blue Eggs are the most basic type of egg that Kazooie can fire in the Banjo-Kazooie series.
Blue Eggs are used as the sole projectile weapon in Banjo-Kazooie, and are 1 of 5 types of projectile eggs in Banjo-Tooie. Kazooie can shoot them out of her mouth or her backside. She can hold a maximum of 100, or 200 if a cheat code from Cheato is used. The blue eggs are an important factor in the games such as filling a Blue Egg Toll or defeating Gruntilda.

History
Banjo-Kazooie
Blue Eggs first appear in Banjo-Kazooie, where they act as the sole projectile weapon. Banjo and Kazooie gain the ability to use them after talking to Bottles in Mumbo's Mountain. Like Musical Notes, the Gold and the Red Feathers, Blue Eggs are scattered around the world map for Banjo and Kazooie to collect. The duo can carry up to 100 Blue Eggs, or 200 after meeting Cheato then entering the cheat code "BLUE EGGS" from the Sand Castle.

Blue Eggs are primarily used for solving puzzles, usually leading directly to a Jiggy. Kazooie can fire Blue Eggs either out front or from her backside. She can only fire them in a straight line, and cannot home them on obstacles or enemies. Blue Eggs have the capability of attacking weaker enemies, such as Grublins.

The Blue Eggs are essential throughout the game, namely for filling a Blue Egg Toll or attacking Gruntilda in the final battle. Blue Eggs are a key item for obtaining some Jiggys, including by feeding Juju and Croctus, both who find Blue Eggs tasty, or even patching Leaky up with two Blue Eggs.

A larger variant of the Blue Egg, the Giant Blue Egg, appears as one of the final rooms in Gruntilda's Lair, directly before the final boss fight against Gruntilda. The Giant Blue Egg entirely refills the duo's Blue Egg supply.

Banjo-Tooie
Blue Eggs reappear in Banjo-Tooie, where they can only be collected in groups of nests, just like Musical Notes, Red Feathers, and Gold Feathers. The game also introduced more types of Eggs, such as Fire Eggs or Grenade Eggs, which diminishes the unique purpose of Blue Eggs. While they are the weakest type of egg, Blue Eggs still have the highest maximum capacity. One Blue Egg is even required for activating the Pot o' Gold in Cloud Cuckooland.

The Egg Aim ability taught by Jamjars allows Kazooie to shoot eggs in first-person mode, including Blue Eggs. She can also learn later on how to fire eggs while airborne or underwater.

In Banjo-Kazooie, a larger variant called the Giant Blue Egg appears in the final room of Gruntilda's Lair right before fighting Gruntilda herself. By collecting the egg, Banjo and Kazooie's supply of Blue Eggs are refilled entirely.
Banjo-Kazooie: Grunty's Revenge
Blue Eggs also appear in Banjo-Kazooie: Grunty's Revenge, where they have a very similar purpose as they did in Banjo-Tooie.

Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts
Blue Eggs make another appearance in Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts. Even though Banjo and Kazooie's moveset were revoked from their previous adventures, the Egg Gun and Egg Turret parts allow them to fire Blue Eggs from their vehicle.

In Banjo-Tooie, the eggs come in nests and Kazooie can fire up to three eggs at a time. They are the weakest type of eggs Kazooie can use, but can be held in higher capacities than any other egg type. Considering that they talk, they may be enemies of Gruntilda because they allow Kazooie to shoot them and destroy them.
In the ending, the Lord of Games returns the duo's moveset in a cardboard box. Blue Eggs appear inside the box, along with Red Feathers, Gold Feathers and a Flight Pad.

Trivia
*According to Juju and Croctus, blue eggs are quite tasty.
*In Banjo Tooie, blue eggs are unnecessary if Dragon Kazooie is toggled on, since Fire Eggs are in infinite supply and deal more damage than normal ones. However, one Blue Egg is still required to activate the Pot o' Gold in Cloud Cuckooland.
