Rewriting and expanding. I don't think we really need to specify the Click Clock season, since people can guess that they're not seen during the summer.

Chinker is an enemy, found mainly at Freezezy Peak and also during the Winter season of Click Clock Wood in Banjo-Kazooie. He is a large iceblock that uses camoflauges to its advantage by making itself transparent. When Banjo approaches, he pops up and spins around, building speed quickly. When Banjo attacks him he splits in half into 2 mini-chinkers that are the same but smaller.
Chinker is an enemy in Banjo-Kazooie resembling a large ice cube. Found mainly at Freezeezy Peak and during the Winter season of Click Clock Wood, Chinkers will remain perfectly still when idle, their transparency sometimes making them extremely hard to see. When disturbed, these enemies will spring to life with a characteristic boing and spin wildly, accelerating towards Banjo and reaching speeds which make them almost impossible to avoid at close distances. When struck, a Chinker will split into two smaller Chinkers; since each miniature Chinker yields a honeycomb when defeated, these enemies can be an abundant source of energy if dealt with efficiently.

Because Chinkers cannot collide with each other, two or more may occupy the same space at once. The player can take advantage of this by Flap Flipping above a group of spinning Chinkers and Beak Busting them when they are directly under Banjo, taking them out in a single attack.

Friendly Chinkers
The Chinkers in Banjo-Kazooie never speak and seem to be devoid of any sort of personality. However, in Banjo-Tooie, the player will encounter a married couple of Chinkers named George and Mildred Ice Cube whom have been separated by a blizzard and enlist the aid of Banjo to reunite them.
