Since he is largely immobile, items are placed on top of his back and feet, including [[Wading Boots]] on his tail and a [[Flight Pad]] on his back. Interestingly, he is capable of speaking, and complains of a stuffed nose when [[Banjo]] and [[Kazooie]] stand on one of the two pillars in front of him. The duo can remedy his ailment by firing [[Blue Eggs]] into his nostrils, tickling his nose and causing him to sneeze.
