Golden Eggs, also known as Rapid-Fire Eggs, are a special type of ammunition egg found only in certain minigames and Breegull Blaster areas in Banjo-Tooie. They do about as much damage as Blue Eggs, but can be fired very rapidly. In addition, rather than having a limited stock, Golden Eggs can be fired indefinitely for a certain amount of time defined either by the length of the minigame or by the particular nest which they were found in, which is usually 20 seconds.
