Big Cluckers are enemies found in Click Clock Wood. They behave similarly to Grille and Portrait Chompas. They are large, green birds that hide in holes and pop out their heads to attack when Banjo draws close. Their pattern is slightly different than the Grilla and Painting Chompas; instead of making three bites and retreating, they make a quick bite, retreat, make three bites, retreat, and make a single bite again, after which the process repeats with another quick bite. A Rat-a-tat Rap will finish them off in one go. They draw resemblence to a Toucan or a parrot.

The number of Big Cluckers in Click Clock Wood increase as the seasons progess (until Winter, in which there are none), and they get bigger as well. They also start to appear in harder locations that are located much higher.
