Sput Sputs are dart-shooting statue heads found in Mayahem Temple in Banjo-Tooie. They are completely stationary, but they shoot darts repeatedly at Banjo and Kazooie if the duo venture too close to it. A Sput Sput can be disabled by firing eggs at the yellow jewel on its forehead, or can be destroyed completely by hitting it with Grenade Eggs, having Golden Goliath kicking it or flying and pressing Template:B to hit the golden jewel which completely destroys it but is often difficult.
Such measures though are only temporary and usually not necessary since Sput Sput's darts are easily avoided, especially with the fast-footed Talon Trot.
The appear similar, and possibly modeled after, the Easter Island head statues .
