Merry Maggie Malpass is Jolly's partner at his shop. She is eaten by a giant fish and Banjo must rescue her. While in the shop, she is usually found behind the counter, brushing her hair.

- She was named Malpass after Steve Malpass, a Rareware member who later went on to voice the character Fox McCloud in Super Smash Bros. Melee and Star Fox Adventures.
- Merry Maggie Malpass has an oddly low voice for a female.
