Favicon[edit]

Hi, I uploaded a new favicon for this wiki, but It doesnt seem to show up on the browser or in the favourites. It is a little yellow jigsaw, size 16x16. And I did use the .ico extension using irfanview. But when I copy the link to my desktop, the icon does show up. Cheers, Chicken7 ^>talk 11:10, 25 March 2008 (UTC)

I was actually going to say that we could use a new icon. Thanks for taking care of that. By the way, try clearing your browser's cache or temporary internet files if it's not showing up. Jimbo-Jambo

The jigsaw favicon is now showing for me both logged in and logged out. If you are still seeing the old one, then as Jimbo Jambo said, clearing your own local cache can help, but it's possible it's on our server side as well. Unlike other images, favicons are cached unpredictably; it sometimes takes a few hours, and occasionally up to a day and a half, for the old icon to be purged from all of our cache servers. If you still have trouble tomorrow after clearing your browser cache, let me know and I will see if the techs can poke something to force the image to update.  :) — Catherine<staff/> (talk) 19:05, 25 March 2008 (UTC)
