This template ensures that anything after it will be placed below elements that float at the side of the page, such as infoboxes, instead of trying to flow around them.
By default, both sides of the page are cleared. Giving a param will clear only one side, as follows:
{{clear|right}}- place below things with float:right{{clear|left}}- place below things with float:left{{clear}}or{{clear|both}}- do both
