It can be used simply by pressing the {{B}} button either while stationary or moving slowly. When used, [[Banjo]] swipes at enemies with his claws and takes a couple of steps forward. Because of its low power, slow execution time, and overall impracticality when fighting moving enemies, this attack isn't of much use, although its simplicity makes it a good practice move for beginners to fight weaker enemies.
