Giant's Lair is the fan-given name of a test level believed to be an early version of Grunty's Lair. It takes place in a towering temple somewhere in an oasis-like area.
Many players get Giant's Lair confused with Mount Fire Eyes, another beta level from Banjo-Kazooie. Its theme tune (titled "Temple") would eventually be used for the DK64 level, Fungi Forest, which was originally another beta level, Fungus Forest.
