Sput Sputs are the dart-shooting statue heads found in Mayahem Temple. They are completely stationary, but will spit darts at Banjo and Kazooie if they get too close. Sput Sputs can be disabled by firing eggs at the jewel between their eyes, or destroyed completely by hitting it with a Grenade Egg or the Golden Goliath's kick, but any such measures are temporary and usually wasteful anyway since Sput Sput darts are easily avoided, especially with the the fast-footed Talon Trot.
