The Saucer of Peril is a recurring object in the Banjo-Kazooie series.

Location and uses
The Saucer of Peril is a strangely sentient flying saucer who serves as a ride in Witchyworld. It has made several appearances since its debut in Banjo-Tooie.
Banjo-Tooie
In Banjo-Tooie, its first appearance, the Saucer of Peril is a sentient flying saucer, also having its own ride in the Space Zone of Witchyworld. It is initially found inside a crate on the Fuel Depot of Glitter Gulch Mine, where a boulder is blocking the tunnel. Detonator Banjo needs to destroy it, allowing the saucer to proceed and encounter a door that leads to the Witchyworld but needs to be opened from the other side.

Once the path is opened, the Saucer of Peril frees itself from the box and stays on his platform, stating it needs power to work. Once Mumbo Jumbo provides it with a spell, the Saucer of Peril allows Banjo and Kazooie to ride it. During its mini-game, Kazooie needs to shoot targets with Golden Eggs to score points and win the prizes. Red, green and blue targets are worth 1, 2 and 3 points respectively. Scoring 400 points awards the duo with a Cheato Page, while 500 points win a Jiggy.

Banjo-Tooie
The Saucer of Peril is trapped in a crate in the Glitter Gulch Mine, specifically in the Fuel Depot. Once Banjo an Kazooie open the door connecting Glitter Gulch Mine to Witchyworld, the Saucer of Peril will hover out of the mines and free itself fron the crate. However it states that there is a lack of a power supply, so the minigame is momentarily closed until further notice. But with the help of Mumbo Jumbo, the power can be restored, and the Saucer or Peril will let the duo ride it around in a mini-game where they shoot red, green, and blue colored targets to get points(red being worth one point, green is two points, and blue is three). If their score is good enough, the Saucer of Peril grants them the grand prize, a Jiggy, for 500 points, and a Cheato Page for getting at least 400. Banjo and Kazooie can ride it for fun anytime afterwards.

During the end of the game, Captain Blubber can be seen riding the Saucer of Peril after having bought it with the 1,000 Doubloons he won at a quiz night hosted at Jolly's.
At the end of the game, the Saucer of Peril is seen being ridden around by Captain Blubber.

Banjo-Pilot
The Saucer makes its first return appearance in Banjo-Pilot as a powerful weapon that the racers can utilize. Once activated, the Saucer of Peril crashes into another racer with full force. It can be avoided with a well-timed barrel roll.
In Banjo-Pilot, the Saucer of Peril appears as an item that can be used during races. When activated, it flies and hits the racer in first place (similarly to the Spiny Shell from the Mario Kart series). The Saucer of Peril is stronger than regular Fire Eggs, and can be dodged with aileron rolls.

In Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts, the Saucer was crashed in Showdown Town by Captain Blubber sometime before the events of game.
In Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts, the Saucer of Peril can be found crashed next to the Uptown district of Showdown Town, where Captain Blubber explains to have landed.

In Act 2 of the Terrarium of Terror, Boggy hosts a challenge called "The Saucer of Peril Returns" where Banjo rides the L.O.G. Saucer of Peril and shoots targets around the Game World, similarly to the original mini-game in Banjo-Tooie.
In the Terrarium of Terror, Boggy hosts a Jiggy game called "The Saucer Of Peril Returns". Rather than riding in the actual in the Saucer of Peril, the duo ride in a custom-made vehicle that resembles it and is outfitted with an Egg Turret. The mission playes out the same way as the original Saucer of Peril minigame. The path the saucer travels in goes all throught the many domes of Terrarium, and even outside it into space.

In the description of the Humba U.F.O., Humba Wumba states that the vehicle will allow Banjo to "relive" the Saucer of Peril ride.
