S'Hards are enemies that live inside the Icicle Grotto on the icy side of Hailfire Peaks in Banjo-Tooie. They lie motionless, disguised as large ice crystals jutting from the cavern floor, until Banjo walks close, when they will scream, spring to life, and chase him. They crystalline bodies are extremely fragile and will shatter from almost any attack, but their quick feet and perfect mimicry add to the danger of being unexpectedly attacked from behind.
