'''Pawno''' is the resident pawnbroker of [[Jolly Roger's Lagoon]]. He is somewhat sly and uses a crutch to support his peg leg, the origin of which is never fully elaborated upon. When [[Banjo]] and [[Kazooie]] first meet him in ''[[Banjo-Tooie]]'', he offers the duo a [[Jiggy]] for twenty [[doubloons]] and a [[Cheato Pages|Cheato page]] for five. These are the only items available for purchase, but many items from ''[[Banjo-Kazooie]]'' appear in the shop as well: the [[Gruntilda]] doll offered as second prize in [[Grunty's Furnace Fun]], [[Brentilda|Brentilda's]] portrait from [[Mad Monster Mansion]], and a box with the the initials "B-K" on it. A [[Glowbo]] can also be collected in the shop, on a shelf next to the Grunty doll.

In ''Banjo-Tooie'', when [[Banjo]] and [[Kazooie]] first encounter Pawno at his [[Pawno's Emporium|pawn shop]], he offers a [[Jiggy]] to them for twenty [[doubloon]]s. After that is bought, a [[Cheato Page]] will be for sale for five doubloons. These are the only items he has for sale. If Kazooie enters Pawno's shop by herself and tries to buy either item but does not have enough doubloons, Pawno makes a comic remark of how Kazooie "can't pay with eggs."
