The Game Boy Advance is a handheld game system created by Nintendo. The first units were released in 2001, although it later spawned a backlit screen model in early 2003, the Game Boy Advance SP. Two Banjo-Kazooie games were released on the Game Boy Advance: Banjo-Kazooie: Grunty's Revenge and Banjo-Pilot. While the former was first revealed at E3 2001, as a playable demo on original Game Boy Advance units, the latter was not shown at the event, and was originally intended to be a Donkey Kong game, Diddy Kong Pilot, which was also unveiled at E3 2001. The publisher for both Banjo-Kazooie games is THQ.
