'''Bozzeye''' is an elderly mole and the ancestor of [[Bottles]]. His name likely comes from the term "boz eyed," which refers to a person who has one of their eyes permanently half shut.

In ''[[Banjo-Kazooie: Grunty's Revenge]]'', Banjo meets Bozzeye at the start of the game, after [[Mumbo Jumbo]] sends him back in time to rescue Kazooie. Bozzeye claims to have received a letter from Mumbo Jumbo saying that Banjo would appear. He tells the bear to visit a nearby [[molehill]] to learn his first move, [[Pack Whack]]. Banjo can only talk to Bozzeye in front of a molehill, otherwise he prompts Banjo to walk to the front. He appears in all six worlds.

Like [[Jamjars]] in ''[[Banjo-Tooie]]'', Bozzeye only teaches an ability to Banjo if he acquires a certain number of [[Musical Note]]s. As a result of time travel, Banjo and Kazooie forgot how to use their moves, so every move that Bozzeye teaches them is from ''[[Banjo-Kazooie]]'' and ''[[Banjo-Tooie]]'', except the [[Battery Egg]]s. If Banjo and Kazooie are low on health and talk to Bozzeye, he automatically restores their health.

Bozzeye teaches a total of 14 moves during the game. The only move he does not teach is [[Flap Flip]], which Kazooie teaches to Banjo when he frees her in Breegull Beach.
