'''Sput Sputs''' are the dart-shooting statue heads found in [[Mayahem Temple]]. They are completely stationary, but will spit darts at [[Banjo]] and [[Kazooie]] if they get too close. Sput Sputs can be disabled by firing eggs at the jewel between their eyes, or destroyed completely by hitting it with a [[Grenade Eggs|Grenade Egg]], or using the [[Golden Goliath]]'s kick they can be smashed into pieces with one hit, but any such measures are temporary and usually wasteful anyway since Sput Sput darts are easily avoided, especially with the the fast-footed [[Talon Trot]].
