Okay, a few proposals having to deal with items in general... Single notes, note nests, and treble clefs are all the same thing, just in different amounts. I think we should just merge the articles into one Music Note or Musical Note page, maybe with a plural title. Also, same thing with egg and feather nests: way too specific, not very useful.
Double Honeycombs and Air Bubbles aren't really items, they're more like attributes, and I don't think they deserve their own articles. Bubbles could be included in the Swimming article or whatever, and Double Honeycombs...well, actually, that's kind of a big spoiler by itself. I think we should mention it sparingly and only under a Spoiler tag, like in the Top of the Tower article or something. Same goes for the giant egg and feathers, actually.
Finally, I'd like to divide these articles into at least two categories...well, two really, since I can't think of another one. Collectibles for things that are put into an inventory, like Glowbos, Notes, etc., and something like Ability Items (you know, something along those lines, only less stupid sounding) for items required to execute an ability, like shoes and pads (flight, shock, and split-up). Eggs and feathers would go into both categories I think, since they can be stocked and used to perform abilities. I'm not totally sure where to put other interactable objects like batteries and hatchable eggs...I think we already have an Objects category for those, but that's a pretty vague name...
Oh yeah, also, I was going to mention this in Category talk:Characters, but I might as well mention it here since I've already started the page. What do you think about a Technology and Powers category? Thing that would go in it would be like Warp Cauldrons, BOB, Chuffy, and some other things which don't easily fit into other categories. - I'm a bit worried about the spoiler aspect of Double Honeycombs, although it wouldn't be the first time an entire article was a spoiler... I think it would fit appropriately under Category:Secrets and Easter eggs, at least. As for the Items category, yeah, it could be a supercategory for Collectibles and Ability items. Actually, now that I think about it, pads and shoes could probably go under Objects....but I'm kind of wondering what else would go in there. The floaty things, I guess. I mean, like I said, the word "object" is really vague when it comes to describing things. I dunno. Jimbo-Jambo
